As with everyone out there, I have a few challenges that I need to face on either a daily basis, or quite regularly.

Firstly, upon my return from oversees, my hayfever has gone into overdrive. My eyes water constantly (24/7...no exaggeration), I sneeze uncontrollably at least 3 times a day and my eyes itch so badly, I've actually succeeded in damaging the soft skin around it a couple of times...rubbing it (a big no-no...I know.) Because of the fact that I have to wipe the tears away all the time, the skin has become a bit raw, and I try my hardest to keep my hands away from my eyes, washing it and disinfecting as much as I can...but it doesn't always help.

Okay, so apart from the hayfever, there's still the challenge of finding a job. It's been over a year, and I still haven't changed jobs. It's hard...really hard...financially and pscyhologically.

And I'm still single.

But here's the clincher. My spirit is much lighter than it has been in quite some time. Why? God.

Not much has changed on the hayfever front, but I've landed more interviews in the past couple of weeks...and I'm still single, but my moments of happiness seem to last longer.

The one thought, in all of this, keeps my head up high: God knows me, He knows my heart, He knows my passions, and He knows the plans He has for me. He wants me to prosper in every single aspect of my life.

And you know what? I trust Him completely. He'll never let me down...I just know it!

A small testimony: We started advertising for the production we'll be doing at our church, and I started with the dance rehearsals this past Monday. Last week Thursday 3 people showed up for the info evening. On Monday we ended up being a total of 11 people at the rehearsal. Awesome!

  1. I really wish I had the same love and belief in Him. I feel like it gives you an amazing strength, and I am so glad that you are able to feel the goodness and faith that it brings.
I am glad also that you are able to keep your head up so high, even though you go through so many struggles everyday.
Wanda, you are truly amazing. And I love you. Big time.

  2. Thanks Mae! I love you big time too!!

Your love and belief in Him will for sure be different than mine, but it won't be less strengthening and uplifting. Get to know Him, just a little bit everyday and I can assure you that it'll blow your mind!

    Miss you!
